IF changes ebay Gallery Photo when relisted thru IF?

I had an active item that I changed the eBay Gallery photo from eBay before it ended. It did not sell - I relisted it thru IF last night. It had the correct changed photo on it when I looked at it last night in My eBay.

Today it has the old eBay Gallery photo that was used in the original - not the one I revised.

So what is going on?

If you changed the Gallery photo in eBay, then it is not updated in IF. When you relisted in IF it had the old photo associated with the IF listing.

Make any changes to Active listing in IF so IF knows about the change. If you have to do it in eBay, then remember to change it in the IF saved listing.

This is not an inkFrog design problem. Auctiva had the same method. It is the way the third party solutions work.

If you use eBay Selling Manager Pro, it gives the option to update your saved listings if you change a live listing. That is because there is tighter integration with the eBay SM Pro with eBay.

Can't change the eBay Gallery photo in IF, only thru eBay. This was not a problem in the past that I recall.

What good would it do to change the "saved" listing while is is active or being relisted? Do you man to change it in IF "revise" while it is active?

I think the latter might work, because last week I did try and change the Gallery and title bar photos on a listing [while active] thru InkFrog by changing the photo name in IF "revise". The title bar photo DID change but the gallery did not. However, when I relisted the same item days later thru IF, the newly named photo appeared in the eBay Gallery.

It USED to be that any changes made in eBay in a live auction were preserved in that auction and if the changes were made only in IF, they were not. Least that's how I remember it in the "old" days.
